Menopause can really shape day-to-day life for many women, especially once they’re juggling work, home, and everything in between. And it’s not a rare thing either, because around half of the population will experience it at some point.
Understanding Menopause in the Workplace
Skills covered in this course
Make your workplace a more inclusive place with recognised Menopause training
New findings suggest that 30% of women who took part in a survey had to take sick leave because of menopause symptoms. The surprising part? Only a quarter felt comfortable enough to talk to their manager about it. People Management’s survey also reported that 1 in 10 women have left employment due to their symptoms. With women aged 50+ growing fast in the workplace, it makes sense to have menopause training in place so people can stay supported and in work.
Across this course, you’ll build a clear understanding of menopause, explore what it can look like in a workplace setting, and learn practical ways to manage symptoms.
