Keeping people safe from infection is a huge part of delivering good quality care, particularly because certain serious infections can spread quickly in health and care settings.
the Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings

Course Overview
In England, around 300,000 patients each year pick up an infection while they’re receiving care through the NHS. To make sure support stays safe and effective, infection control and prevention have to be part of everyday working life for anyone in a health or social care environment, no matter what their job is.
