About this course

Fancy taking yourself back through a decade of the most interesting behavioural science and creativity talks?

If yes, you're in the right place.

Nudgestock is Ogilvy Consulting's annual festival from their behavioural science team, and people have called it everything from genuinely brilliant to 'a Glastonbury for nerds'. That part is accurate.

It's hosted by the sharp mind of Rory Sutherland and his crew, bringing together some of the best thinkers around to share how they see the world.

In previous years, you've had speakers like Ruby Wax, Daniel Kahneman, John Cleese, Dan Ariely, Laurie Santos, Dave Trott, Diana Fleischman, Tim Harford, Meik Wiking, BJ Fogg, Richard Thaler, Paul Dolan and loads more.

In this FREE course, we've sifted through the top talks from the last ten years of Nudgestock and turned them into something you can work through, with practical takeaways you can actually apply.

Start building your behavioural science toolkit today.

Rory Sutherland

Rory Sutherland

Rory Sutherland is one of the most influential voices out there when it comes to advertising and behavioural science. He's President Emeritus of Ogilvy Consulting, where he helped create their pioneering behavioural science practice, and he's also the bestselling author of Alchemy: The Surprising Power of Ideas That Don't Make Sense. Rory joined Ogilvy in 1988 as a graduate trainee, then spent over twenty years working as a copywriter and creative director before digging into a bigger question: why do people really do what they do? His broad answer is that humans are wonderfully illogical, and that's not a flaw, it's how we're built. The practice he helped build focuses on small psychological shifts that create surprisingly big results in behaviour. His TED talks, including the fan favourite 'Life Lessons from an Ad Man', have been watched millions of times, making him one of TED's most viewed marketing thinkers. He also writes The Wiki Man column for The Spectator, has served as a former President of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA), and launched Nudgestock, the world's largest festival of behavioural science and creativity, described by many as 'Glastonbury for nerds'. Beyond Alchemy, he's written The Wiki Man and Transport for Humans, co-authored with Pete Dyson. Across the board, there's a common theme: logic gets overrated, sometimes the 'opposite' of a good idea turns out to be good too, and the biggest improvements in work and life often come from thinking differently rather than doing more. Rory lives in Kent, England, and is still one of advertising's most quotable defenders of the illogical.
