suicide awareness self-harm prevention recognise warning signs supportive grieving support confidence responding skills

This course is designed to build your understanding of how to prevent suicide and self-harm, and how to spot when someone might need extra support.

Course Overview

Many people can feel overwhelmed at times, and some go on to experience suicidal thoughts. Those feelings don’t usually pop up out of nowhere. They can be pushed up or made worse by things like changes in day-to-day life, shifts in your environment, or traumatic experiences. In this course, you’ll learn what suicide and self-harm really mean, how prevention works, and how to respond with confidence when someone in your world needs you most.

Course Overview Many people can be at risk of developing suicidal feelings, and those emotions can become stronger when life changes around them. This might include changes in their background, day-to-day routine, or the impact of difficult, traumatic events. Through this course, you’ll gain practical knowledge about suicide and self-harm, so you can better support the people around you when it matters. View Course PDF Speak To Our Team
