In the UK, around 1 in every 11 people are living with dementia right now. Find out how you can help and support them with this Level 3 course.
Level 3 Course In Principles Of Dementia Care
Skills covered in this course
Learn how to support people living with dementia
Studies suggest that more than 944,000 people across the UK are living with dementia, and that figure keeps climbing as life expectancy increases. While there isn’t a cure for dementia, getting a diagnosis early can make a real difference, helping people access the right support and enjoy a fuller day to day life.
If you’re supporting someone with dementia, this course is here to give you a clear, rounded understanding of what dementia is, how it affects people, and what good support looks like. You’ll explore the different types of dementia, why early diagnosis matters, and the essential part that communication, meaningful interaction, and inclusion play in dementia care.
