Housing system Professional practice skills Customer service approaches Anti-social behaviour handling Rental income management

We’re here to support housing professionals across England to achieve the qualifications needed to meet the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023 requirements, and to show that their day-to-day work is backed by strong professional practice.

Course Overview

Housing Practice is a work-focused subject area. To do it properly, you need a solid base of knowledge, understanding, and practical skills for working in housing, usually with a customer service angle.

Through this qualification, you’ll build up the technical understanding you need, plus learn a wide range of practical, front-line housing approaches at an operational level. You’ll also explore specialist areas, including housing topics, plus the key policy and legal side of the sector.

The goal is to help you perform confidently in a front-line role and to prepare you for further study, including moving on to level 4 qualifications.
