Many organisations rely on staff being able to provide information, advice or guidance (IAG) that is both accurate and easy to understand. Just as important is knowing what you can share, and doing it in a way that stays professional and legal. This course looks at practical ways to communicate, how to build strong interpersonal skills, and how group situations can affect what happens. You will also learn how to keep, access and manage information properly so your approach meets legal requirements.

There are lots of services that offer IAG on topics like: careers and employment, education and training, money matters such as debt, loans, mortgages and savings, childcare options, housing options, health care, disability, and support for drug or alcohol addiction.
