This Level 3 Business Management qualification is worth 120 credits (similar to two A levels) and is designed to help you get to grips with the main ideas and practical management processes you’ll need in a workplace setting.

It’s been built to give you the kind of knowledge that helps you perform confidently, whether you’re working on your own or as part of a team. And honestly, solid business management skills matter in almost any organisation.

As you work through the diploma, you’ll be able to use a range of learning support, including tutor guidance and webinars. You’ll also have access to a social learning space, plus extra materials to help you complete the course successfully.

When you finish, you’ll be awarded a Level 3 integrated diploma in Business and Management, regulated by Ofqual. After that, you may be able to apply for entry onto a full undergraduate degree with a number of UK universities.

Alternatively, you can choose to complete our Level 4/5 diploma in Business Management first, and then go on to an undergraduate top-up at different UK universities.

How it works
On our Business Management course, you complete an OTHM Level 3 diploma (120 credits). It’s made to build the skills you need to do well in the business world.
Everything is delivered online, and you can start whenever suits you. It’s genuinely flexible. Each module includes 40 hours of guided online study, plus another 30 to 50 hours of optional content. That can include suggested activities, helpful readings, digital resources, and short self-check tasks.
To finish, you’ll submit 6 online assignments across the course (you’ll do them at each level). Each assignment is usually around 2,000 to 3,000 words. Once you pass, you’ll receive your OTHM diploma, and you can then top it up towards a bachelor’s degree at a selection of UK universities.
Throughout the Business Management programme, you’ll have access to 1-2-1 tutor support and webinars, along with social learning forums and extra materials to help you stay on track.

1. Communication for Business (20 Credits)
2. The Business Environment (20 Credits)
3. People Management (20 Credits)
4. Customer Service (20 Credits)
5. Finance in Business (20 Credits)
6. Marketing (20 Credits)
For the OTHM Level 3 diploma in Business and Management, you complete 6 written assignments.
Each assignment is typically about 2,000 to 3,000 words.
You’ll get support with the modules and assignments through the ‘Tutor’ area on the learning platform.

To join our Level 3 Business Management course, you need to be at least 16 years old and have completed full secondary education.

Career Progression
Studying Business Management can open doors to entry-level roles like business analyst, management trainee, or marketing coordinator.
