Skills covered in this course

Mental health conditions Signs symptom recognition Neurodiversity awareness Mental health legislation Practical condition support

In the UK, around one in four people will deal with a mental health problem at some point each year. You can help meet this challenge by building your understanding with this awareness course.

Increase your understanding of the different conditions that can affect mental health

If you want a clearer understanding of mental health and why it matters, this course is a good place to start. You’ll learn about the different situations and conditions that can lead to mental health difficulties. The course also looks at the signs and symptoms linked to a range of mental health conditions and neurodiversity, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and more.

Across the qualification, each unit zooms in on a different area. You’ll cover how to manage, support, or respond to these conditions in a practical way. You’ll also get to grips with mental health legislation and guidance. By the end, you’ll walk away with new knowledge and skills you can use both in your own life and in your work.
